On Display at Martha Greens Eating Room

I have two new pieces in the Galeria Eclectica, one of which is currently on display.

Blue Sky is is a piece depicting Southern California citrus in bold colors and a sharp impressionistic style.

Golf Course depicts the elegance and grandeur of a golf course nestled in the hills above a nearby community. It is currently on display at Martha Green’s Eating Room. (107 East Citrus Avenue, Redlands, California)

Artober Fest – October 18, 2008

On Saturday, October 18th, from 2pm to 9pm, I’m going to be presenting my work at the first annual Artober Fest presented by the Moreno Valley Arts Commission.

This event should be a great conduit for developing the arts within the community of Moreno Valley and in neighboring areas. It will also be a great opportunity to come and see some of my work, as well as the work of other area artists, up close.

American Eagle Giclee Available

I’m pleased to announce that my first art print is now available. American Eagle, a piece created to honor the victims of the tragedy on September 11th, is now available for purchase online as a limited edition giclee.

Painting Presented to Mrs. Holly Barch

Recently I had the opportunity to present Mrs. Holly Barch with one of my newest paintings of an orange grove. Currently a resident of the State of Missouri, Holly liked this piece because it reminded her of growing up in Southern California.

Bobby and Lucy

My friend Donnie came to visit me in my studio recently. It had been a while since our last visit. We had a great time and had some very interesting intellectual discussions about current events. I had an opportunity to do this painting of Lucy and Bobby, Donnie’s beloved dogs. It was a great time and this was a fun painting.

39th annual Artists Council Exhibition

“Winter Inspiration” is the name of the 24×24 Acrylic on Canvas by Carlos Castillo exhibited at the Palm Springs Art Museum during November and December 2007. The exhibit was a success and this wonderful piece now belongs to the private collection of Mr. and Mrs. Pusser of Santa Cruz, CA.
